The Maserati MC12, one of the most extreme supercars ever made by the House of the Trident, is brought back to life in this fine 1:18 scale resin reproduction created by BBR, a historic company from Lombardy, a leading manufacturer of high-end model cars in Italy. Produced in just 50 units, designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and developed by Michael Schumacher, the 12-cylinder “Maserati Corse” that dominated the FIA GT Championship for five years is now available in this special blue version.
The collaboration between Maserati and BBR has led to the creation of models that stand out for their accuracy, details and high-quality materials, making them every collector’s dream: luxury resin models in 1:18 and 1:43 scale. The design process, carried out by working closely with the technicians and designers of the House of the Trident, allows each model to be carefully analysed in every single detail, starting from the original drawings and historical documents and photos; these key steps allow every single detail of each model to be recreated with extremely high definition. The paintwork is done in the same way as for the real cars. Each part is assembled by hand by specialised, highly experienced personnel: it is an extremely painstaking task that sets BBR models apart from all others.
